Christian thoughts from a Catholic Perspective
We need Jesus. We need truth.
We need love.
Rest assured, you have come to the right spot!
As of January 2024, I am rebuilding this website. So if you have come here based on a search or having found something pointing to my site, you have come to the right page. I have “launched” this website simply because I know many people over the years keep wanting to come back and I also am wanting to be sharing already. I want you to know you are in the right place.
This website will include:
- A Blog with my thoughts on past and current events from a Catholic perspective, as well as truthful things I have learned over the years. My blog will also contain posts about faith based travel sites and destinations.
- An opportunity to view products I have either created myself or would highly recommend. (I have a CafePress website and also will be building an eBay store – stay tuned!!)
- Links to pages and articles for your own perusal
A little about me:
I was raised as a Catholic, however, due to serious lack of knowledge and understanding of my faith, I had become a Protestant, attending a variety of different churches, including non-denominational, Wesleyan and even Seventh Day Adventist. Based on things people at those churches said at first convinced me the Catholic Church was wrong on many things. But then after a while, certain things would get me thinking and even doubting their knowledge. I started doing my own research, digging deeper and deeper. I realized a lot of the accusations were false or didn’t really make much sense. I eventually returned to the Catholic faith based on some in-depth research of what the Catholic Church actually teaches along with what the Bible really says.
But that doesn’t mean I still don’t have questions and concerns. There has been such corruption and abuse over the centuries, church leaders misleading people, abusing their congregants, etc. and overstepping their bounds as far as involvement in certain aspects of public life (and also not doing enough in other areas). I will touch on some of that in my blog posts. There are also questions I still have – I don’t know everything, and so I will continue to do my research.
